Privacy Policy

Our Philosophy
ColorFilla believes in collecting as little data as possible. We don't sell your data and we don't use your photos to train AI models. This policy explains what we do collect and why.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No AI training: Your photos and inputs are never used to train AI models.
- No photo storage by ColorFilla: We do not store your photos. They are sent to third-party services for processing and may be temporarily retained by those providers in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- No data sales: Your data is never sold to third parties.
Photos & Generated Content
When you use the photo-to-coloring-page feature, your image is sent to the OpenAI API via AIProxy for processing. The image is used solely to generate your coloring page. ColorFilla does not store your photos. Third-party providers (OpenAI, AIProxy) may temporarily retain data for abuse monitoring in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Advertising & Tracking
ColorFilla uses Meta (Facebook) ads to reach new users. To measure ad performance and improve our advertising, we use the following:
- Meta (Facebook) SDK: When you open the app, we may ask for your permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, we share your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) with Meta to help measure which ads led you to install or subscribe. You can decline this prompt with no impact on the app experience.
- Server-side event reporting: When you start a trial or make a purchase, our subscription provider (RevenueCat) sends that event to Meta's Conversions API on our behalf. This happens on our servers, not on your device. No personal information such as your name or email is included — only anonymous purchase event data and technical identifiers are shared.
This data is used solely for advertising measurement and optimization. It is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Data We Collect
The app and its third-party SDKs may collect the following data:
- Device ID: Used by AIProxy for usage limits and analytics (not linked to your identity), and by the Meta SDK for advertising, app functionality, and analytics. If you grant tracking permission, the Meta SDK may link your Device ID to your identity for ad measurement.
- IP address: Your IP address may be collected by AIProxy to enforce AI functionality usage limits. It is not linked to your identity.
- Purchase history: RevenueCat and Superwall collect purchase history for app functionality such as managing your subscription. This data is not used for tracking and is not linked to your identity.
- Crash data: The Meta SDK may collect crash data to support app stability. This data is not used for tracking and is not linked to your identity.
- Other data types: The Meta SDK may collect additional data types for analytics purposes. This data is not used for tracking and is not linked to your identity.
Purchase Information
Subscription status and receipt validation are handled through RevenueCat and Superwall. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never access or store your credit card or payment details.
Third-Party Services
ColorFilla uses the following third-party services:
- AIProxy: Securely forwards image processing requests.
- OpenAI: Processes images to generate coloring pages.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions, receipt validation, and server-side ad conversion reporting.
- Superwall: Manages paywall presentation and analytics.
- Meta (Facebook): Receives advertising conversion data and device identifiers (with your permission) to measure ad performance.
